The AJS Foundation has raised over a half a million dollars increase awareness, research and a possible cure for diseases such as Avery's. The AJS Foundation's alliance with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia ("CHOP") will help to further AJS's mission to increase worldwide education, promote necessary medical research and initiate community and family support. In all of its activities, events, and programs, the AJS Foundation places special emphasis on understanding metabolic diseases, its history and the debilitating limitations it causes its sufferers. With this emphasis, AJS hopes to provide hope to families seeking assistance, both financially and emotionally.
To raise funds, awareness and support for children afflicted with Metabolic Diseases, AJS Foundation for Metabolic Diseases has partnered with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. For 2009, The Fourth Annual AJS Foundation for Metabolic Diseases Golf Classic will be held on Monday, June 1st at the Green Valley Country Club. All monies raised from event will go to provide social support and medical assistance for children currently suffering with Metabolic Diseases.
Registration for the outing will begin at 10:30 AM, with lunch to be served at 11:30 AM. A shotgun start is scheduled for 12:30 PM; cocktails to begin at 6:15 PM, with live auction to commence at 7:15 PM.
